This last year has been a monumental year for me as I have fought my way back from an injury that involved surgery and months of rehab. I’m delighted to be back on the pro-circuit but it has been a hard-won battle to get back into racing. During this time, I kept thinking back and seeing what lessons I could learn – where did I go wrong in my training, what could I have done better so that I wouldn’t get injured?
I’m a firm believer that there is always a silver lining to any set-back and I think that having this time off will make me a stronger athlete and it has improved my approach to my training. I’ve also been working really hard on putting together a programme to share with you what I’ve learnt on my journey…and I can tell you that has been harder than training! It’s nearing completion which is the good news so I invite you to sign up to my newsletter so I can let you know when it’s available so that I can share what I’ve learnt on my journey that will hopefully keep you injury-free on your journey. Till then…see you on the circuit!
